We are an ever-growing group of mathematically literate parents, many of whom are scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and educators who want nothing but excellence in Mathematics Education for the students of our country the United States of America. This is imperative so that our children will be able to compete in the global economy
This can only be achieved by having "world class" math standards written by the NJ Department of Education.
We need to follow the lead of states like California, Massachusetts, Indiana, and Washington State who modeled their standards after some of the highest performing countries on international math tests such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Finland, Belgium, Japan and others.
We have members from dozens of towns including: Ridgewood, Bridgewater, Westfield, Flemington, Franklin Lakes, Robbinsville, Mt. Olive, Readington, Wayne, Aberdeen, Matawan, South River, Oradell, Clinton Township, Chester, Springfield, Ft. Lee, West Orange, Long Valley, Florham Park, Holmdel, Fair Lawn, Hillsborough, Fanwood, Hoboken, and more!
